July 29, 2010 - Alice's Orchard and Fruit Stand was open for our CHERRY SEASON ONLY. We are now CLOSED.

Due to the death of the orchardist this year we are closed as of July 29, 2010 and all cherries are GONE. We will not be selling our peaches, nectarines, pears or apples this year. Thank you for your patronage during our cherry season. AGAIN – we are closed. Please do not drive into the orchard as it is posted closed - no trespassing. Please respect our privacy at this time as we cope with our loss. We are now officially CLOSED for the entire season of 2010!

Ken Tamura, orchardist (husband and father) died February 27th from cancer. We miss him dearly and only plan to operate the orchard for our cherry crop this year. Please do not plan to visit us for peaches, apples, pears, nectarines or any other fruit Ken normally carried for you. We will not be staying open this year without him to guide us. We welcome all our loyal customers for what will probably be our last year for Alice's Orchard and Tamura's cherries.

We wish to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers as we fought our cancer battle with Ken.
